Wikis and Blogs in the Math classroom

I currently have created both a wiki and a blog for my mathematics classes. I have been working on scribe posts with a little success. I was wondering if there were any other ideas about how to utilize blogs or wikis for mathematics.

Thanks Shaun. I looked over both of these sites and have linked them to my blog. Some of the elementary teachers in my district will love http://fowlermath.blogspot.com/. I enjoyed it very much. By the way you were our first international hit on our page. My students were very excited about that. Thanks again for your help and let me know if there is anything I can do for you.

Take a look at the K12 Online Conference section called Release the Hounds. Chris Harbeck has some great examples of what he has been doing with his eighth graders. There is also another gentleman, Darren Kuropatwa, who has several of his high school classes working on some interesting projects: Here is one for his Consumer Math course. Darren also put together a VoiceThread discussion of why he blogs with his students. I'm just getting started with my math students, and these examples help me.
