If 2007 was the year for Personal Learning Networks using tools such as Twitter, Skype and Ning, 2008 may be remembered as the year our classrooms go live.

I am co-facilitating the class of 2.4 at the Webcasting Academy and we will be learning some of the various tools needed to:

1. Learn how to use Skype and record a Skype conference conversation while streaming it live to the internet.
2. Learning how to use Ustream.
3. Sharing and streaming one's desktop to other users.
4. Sharing our experiences and frustations with these new tools

Our open house is tomorrow at:
http://www.webcastacademy.net/ at 1600 GMT or check for your time at:

if you would just like to listen and see what it's about feel free:

The setting is very informal and open for those that want to listen first before becoming an intern, as various educators learn and navigate through the tools trying to avoid too many frustrations. This is a community of learners will all sorts of skill levels.
