Teaching in the Global Village : Invitation to an international online-course!!

We are a bunch of teachers from Austria, Italy and Taiwan who are planning a new learning experience for ourselves: We would like to jump into a new learning environment and learn from each other. We would like to reflect in a 4 weeks online course our own cultural learning environment and learn from each other. Therefore we would like to invite some more teachers from other cultural areas to join us!

In June 2008 we’ll go for it! About 4 h/week are plannend for collaborative learning, we will use moodle as our learning management system. No costs, since costs for this project are taken over by the Austrian Ministry for education. All you need: A letter from your institution (school, teachers Trainings’ Institute, University…) that you are obliged to take part.

We are trying to get participants from different cultural areas, so we are looking for 2-3 persons from one area: North-America, Latin America, Africa, Arabic countries. Sorry, Austrians, Germans, Italian and Taiwanese teachers have to wait for next turn!
