A more diverse recruitment for sport

Hello.  I am currently a trainee teacher and it is a wish of mine to try and incorporate a more diverse cohort of students into the sport program?  At the moment the classes are predominantly white males.  Does anyone have any ideas or strategies to help expand the diversity and be more inclusive?
