Action Research: Engagement of Students with Netbooks

Hi!

I am looking for any action research already conducted regarding the engagement of students with netbooks. We are looking at getting netbooks at my school next year for our 7th and 8th grade students but I need to gather information for my principal.

Has anyone conducted such research that they would be willing to share with me for the sole purpose of seeing how other schools faired?
