Animoto is pretty well known. Make sure you sign up for the educator account as it gives you extra features for free. Here is a short tutorial I wrote on using Animoto in the classroom.

Very Cool. I've already "produced" a quick "picture video" just to get started. You have made my day with this web tool. I will definitely try this in my classroom.
