Has anyone actually used a Livescribe Pulse pen? It seems like it would really be useful, particularly for students who are on an IEP.

Basically its a pen that can record whatever is written. It also includes a digital voice recorder and comes with software that can stitch the notes and audio together as a movie. It needs special paper, but apparently there have been some updates in the software that allows you to print your own.

This seems like it would be really cool. I envision having one student in each class take notes with my Smartpen, while recording what I say. Then I would post the movies of the notes for those students who were absent or need a second look. But I don't want to spend any of my limited budget if it doesn't really work very well.

Thanks.
