Our school will be experimenting with several Android tablets as well as the iPad this summer in hopes of starting a pilot program at some point next school year.  Does anyone have any Apps, Ideas, or Advice they would like to share about using Android Tablets and/or iPads in the classroom?

Have you ever heard of Wooclap, it’s an amazing classroom response system (SAAS) that helps teachers make classes more fun and interactive for the students. Wooclap also offer knowledge on how technology enhances classroom experiences! For that, check out the Wooclap website and Wooclap blog!

Wooclap is a simple and intuitive online polling system that is developed with the help of pedagogical engineers and teachers and professors across the globe!

What it does is basically, it offers teachers a super easy platform through which they will integrate questions (polls, open questions, multiple choice questions,…) to their PPT presentation. This will enable them to ask the questions live during class and students will thus participate by using their smartphone, tablet or computer.

It offers a great way to revolutionise the way you give classes and increases interaction and participation coming from your audience/students. Wooclap uses smartphones, tablets and computers in the learning process. It’s a great interactive tool and all you need is the link to the website and you can turn presentations, classes, meetings into a great interactive experience.

Audience engagement is definitely guaranteed and it is very useful for both students and teachers.
