Attendance Policy

We are in the process of revamping our attendance/tardy policy at the Middle School level. What does your policy state? What are your consequences for students who are tardy or have excessive absences?

Our high school policy is this:

Four tardies = 1 absence
8 absences for a course (semester long)= no
credit for the course

Now this is the policy but reality is something else. State laws will
have the biggest impact on your policy.
