Blog Companion-Piece

Hi all, I created a "companion piece" to go along w/ my blog to help filter Web 2.0/21st Century Tools for my new Tech Director. These are specific online applications that have an educational portal for school use. While there are a ton of sites that we as educators can use, when it comes to allowing students to partake in these activities we have to be very aware district/CIPA compliance rules.

Hopefully, this PDF can be useful/beneficial to others. As always I am open to suggestions/ideas.comments on how I can improve our readers blogging experience. This is volume I. I plan to create further volumes if there is an interest.

Extremely useful list! A must-see document. Now, I have it on my blog: it saved me a lot of time and effort and it will certainly save others a lot of time, too. Thanks so much for sharing and the great effort you put in there, David.

Thanks guys for your comments. There should be another volume coming this month, still thinking of how I want to organize it, but this is something I can definitely do once a month or every few months to help people view my blog in other formats. Of course the best thing about it is, this is totally free, so anyone can use it however best works for them. In that respect it's almost "open source" ;-)
