Book on Life Science

Does someone know a good read aloud book on the topic of adaptations, niches, or animals surviving in their natural element? I need it for a lesson in grades 4 or 5. But I would like it to be a good literature read aloud book.

Hi Nikki,
there is a good lesson in the book,"Science Through Children's LIterature" it is about Adaptation of Animals and the story they suggest to introduce the lesson is "Chipmunk Song" by Joanne Ryder. Hope that helps.
