Boston Area Workshop as Prelude to 11/18 Webinar

The Learning Games Network is working with Steve to sponsor a series of Web Events on using learning games for teaching. Our next (first) event in the series will deal with teasing lesson plans out of game and web-based content, using the Children's Hospital Boston's "Generation Cures" site and the online game "Caduceus" as an example. Additionally, for teachers in the Greater Boston area, a live event dealing with Caduceus will also be held this Saturday, 11/14 in Cambridge, MA at the Learning Games Network studio. Attending is free, and all participating teachers will receive $75 giftcards from each of Staples and Best Buy (total $150), and get a chance to work with some of the learning materials available with Generation Cures. Plus we'd love to have you join us on Wednesday and provide some additional input during the Web Event.
