Building a coherent curriculum

Hi all,

I would like your advice and what you think on what elementary students should master at each grade level (from kindergarten to 5th grade). I am trying to come up with a scope and sequence matrix that adresses a variety of skills, web2.0 tools and areas. Hopefully, we will be able to build a coherent curriculum.

Which area should be empahsized ? Have you found the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) standards useful ?
