I teach high school English at a boarding school in New England. My school has a 21st century initiative and integrates 21st century education into every aspect of the classroom experience. I currently teach Literature and Composition II. Our focus is British Literature. We have read Hamlet, Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, The Canterbury Tales, and The Once and Future King. I use the following tools in my classroom: Blogger, ITunes, Skype, GoogleDocs, PowerPoint, Wiki, Ning, and Moodle. Most of my lessons are project based and focus on COLLABORATION. Here is what I am looking for: Winter Term is about to end. Our Spring Term runs from March 29-May 23. I need to pick a book or books for the term by next week. My goal is find another class or classes that would be interested in reading the same book or books. We then would design some collaborative projects based on our readings. If you are interested or have any questions please let me know. I am excited to see where this takes my class and whoever joins is.

Hi Justin,
I have a teacher in my high school that i teachers British Literature and is interested. I emailed her your request. This is her response:

I am currently teaching Macbeth and will also later be teaching: Sir Gawain, Jane Eyre (or Wuthering Heights), and Frankenstein

If one of these will work we can put something together. We also use Ning, Wikispaces, Moodle, Wordpress etc...
No problem. Her contact info is below. I ask that you please keep me in the loop by copying me on the email exchanges. I would like to help facilitate this collaboration. I am the instructional technology supervisor in the district. We have access to a number of tools. I would like to help put one or two to use with this project.
