Community of Educators or a Community of Self Promoters?

I used to come here all the time looking for answers and suggestions for technology use in the classroom.  Now it seems that all people in here are doing is shamelessly trying to promote their own blog, website, or product.  Most of the links you all are posting are blocked by our filter, so even if you do have good info, I can't get to it.  If you have an answer to someones question, just post it!  Don't give me a link to "your blog".  Students first...

Respectively yours,

Stu

Thanks Stu - I agree! I don't need to know the name of your latest book or a link to your own personal business website either. This is for teachers to collaborate, share ideas and get real help from each other. I don't want it to turn into a forum for whoever to advertise whatever.
