I'm serving with the Peace Corps as an English Teacher in Bulgaria. Peace Corps has a Correspondence Match Program in which they pair a Volunteer with an educator in the United States so that students can learn about other cultures through the first-hand experience of the Volunteer (and vice versa). It's a great opportunity for students on both sides to learn and collaborate with one another, and ask any questions they may have. This can be done via letters, videos, podcasts, blogs, and so forth, so the correspondence medium is really flexible and allows for a lot of creativity. It's free and is an excellent way to share our culture with others.

Would anyone be interested in being matched with me? If so, or if you have any questions or concerns, please email me ( asap with your interest and I will instruct you on how to enroll in the program.

Many thanks!
