Current Events in Education

I'm interesting in discussing general current events in education, either using Ning or Moodle as a basis. Anyone else interested in discussing:

-Teacher pay/tenure
-the Education Bubble (subprime lending to college students)
-Technology integration
-School reform
-anything else

Since college I've been really interested in education policy and want to continue thinking/learning about it, so just a place to share articles and thoughts is basically what I'm looking for.
