I've seen some discussion here on widgets and gadgets or website, but nothing on dashboard widgets that might be used to measure progress.

I'd like to add two widgets to the front page of our community website. One would be a progress bar showing member contributions towards our goal. The second would be a track lane showing our 20 government agencies and who is leading in contributions. These contributions are in the form of content to our digital library rather than money.

Can you suggest widgets for these? I've seen numerous fundraising thermometers (some examples attached), but not one that I can customize readily. I've also thought about using either a Numbers or Powerpoint embedded chart, but I don't know how to do it. If this something that you have some experience with or if you know of a tutorial, I'm very interested.

Suggestions are very appreciated.
