Hi There

I have been teaching media art for the past 5 years and have had to develop a lot of material myself. There is a wealth of tutorials on the internet and lots of the same on you tube...from beginner to advance.

What grades are you teaching and how do you plan to use the programs.

I am in Canada so not sure if what we do would relate to other countries.

I do know that Final Cut is an amazing program but is also one that requires a fair amount of work to master effectively.

While I am here let me mention the Toronto Student Film Festival which is now in its 5th year. All submissons are free and it is open to all youth 12-21. Submissions are due by March 22, 2010 and the Festival Showcase screening of the top 25 submissions is April 24, 2010. Check it out at www.tsff.ca or email me at tsff@live.ca
I'm currently learning both Adobe CS3 and Final Cut Studio and I've been using a mix of www.lynda.com and Apple's textbooks,

I'd recommend checking out how they organize the material.
