Digital storytelling help!

I am an education major at my university and in a technology class for teachers. I have to make a digital story for a 5th grade science lesson plan over chemical vs physical changes. I am curious to know how teachers have used digital storytelling for certain subjects. Or if anyone has suggestions or ideas I would really appreciate it!

Not sure I know what digital storytelling is, but you may want to look at some of the history theme stories on My Own Books: http://www.educationalsynthesis.org/books "Visit Jamestown with Pocahontas" may be of interest.
