distance learning on a codec system

i teach two high school math classes per day on a codec "lifesize" system distance learning platform.  it is interactive 2-way tv.  anyone who teaches on this type of system with tips on how to make instruction more effective for remote-site students, i'd love to read your ideas!  thanks---rod ready
