Aloha! My name is Daniela and I am with Naturally Hawaiian Culture and Arts Learning Center in Hawaii (Art gallery and home of Hawaii's Nature Artist Patrick Ching). We have recently incorporated webcams into our class (broadcasting classes on Blogtv, art themed birthday parties etc.) and we also have had some people hire Patrick to teach web cam classes from other countries and states. Patrick has really enjoyed this and wants to do more of it so I have been looking into options. He has several children's books on the market and the teachers who use them have told me that perhaps teachers in the mainland US (and internationally even) might like having Patrick as a guest teacher in their class, teaching from the beach of Hawaii on his webcam live. Especially those students in small towns, or in the dead of winter. It might be a good incentive for them to come to class when they know they are going to have a Hawaiian Art teacher on a beach. (Patrick is so good with kids as it is, I personally know I would have liked that when I was in school in Denver.) I would like to know what you all think and if anyone has suggestions on how to get this out there to the schools who would find this useful. :) Thanks! Daniela
