My fourth grade students entered the doodle for google contest in March and one of them is a regional finalist (just found out this morning) and is going to New York next week. The next phase is getting enough popular votes in order to move him into the next round of judging. Our school (Mossy Oaks Elementary School) will get a much needed $25,000 technology grant from google if he is chosen the grand prize winner. We are asking everyone to please take a moment to go online to Google and vote for Hayden Furman's doodle.

Where to vote can be found when you enter google.com - you will see the link just under the search box. Hayden is in the 4-6th grade category under region four.

He is a very deserving young man and is excited about his first plane trip ever.

Thank you for your support!

How exciting!! My students have participated in the contest for the last several years and I am always amazed at the quality of the state winners. Good Luck to your student. N.
