I am helping set up a "Technology Club" at Kansas State University as part of the College of Education. We are going to set up workshops that count towards Professional Hours required for graduation. I am looking for help on what subjects to present, ideas for topics and different technologies that can be used in the classroom. The vision I have is presenting a topic and then having the students attending "play" with those topics or technologies.

Give me your ideas!

Hi, Jesse. You might want to look at our http://workshops.classroom20.com/, where we use a form of "unconference" + wiki organization for our Web 2.0 workshops. They are a ton of fun, and might give you some ideas. Good luck!
You might share with them the FREE Teacher Toolbar (http://professionallearningboard.ourtoolbar.com) full of ed tech resources and tools (and listed among Jane Hart's best elearning tools in education). This could serve as a great jumping off point for your innovative work. Good luck!
