EdCrowd similar to Classroom 2.0 but for all ed topics

About a year ago, I heard about EdCrowd from a post on Classroom 2.0. I tried it out and really liked it. It's similar to Classroom 2.0, but more for all ed-related topics (as opposed to technology focused). Also, the set-up is a little different, with users taking over moderation, etc., when they earn enough "reputation."

As the school year progressed, I fell out of my web 2.0 communities for a while. When I recently returned to EdCrowd, I was sad to see that not as many users are utilizing the site. Does anyone out there use it?
