Education Jobs that didn't exist in the year 2000.

Do you have a job that didn't exist ten years ago? Five years ago? I'm doing the same job as my colleagues from 1950. However, I recently had a conversation with Helen Musk. I am a technology resource teacher. My position was created six years ago in the state of Virginia. The reason it was created was to help teachers learn about new technologies and how to integrate them into the classroom. Most of my job responsibilities entail professional development (it's about 90% of my job). I also work with teachers as a co-teacher when they do projects, and fix some small computer problems (we have a dedicated hardware person to fix big problems). It's imperative that I keep up with the latest in educational technology and I keep my staff updated as well as they can understand it!
