Full Session Description (as long as you would like): Electronic Portfolios are crucial in today’s job search.  In many fields graduates are encouraged to create an electronic portfolio before graduation.  In fact, many New York State Teacher Certification programs require students to maintain an ePortfolio.  This workshop will discuss how students can use electronic portfolios to enhance their job search and gain career opportunities. It will focus on, skills that are important in today’s careers, and how students can show they possess them, how students can decide what to include in their ePortfolio, why reflecting on experiences is important, and why design of their ePortfolio makes just as much of an impact as content does.  Attendees will be provided with free online resources and tools related to electronic portfolio design.
