Hey all, I'm working on narrowing targets for an investigative tour this summer and early fall, a quest to determine which elements of "exemplary" K-4 technology programs we should incorporate into a redesign of our own here at
University School of Nashville. This little project is funded by a modest grant that a proposal for it garnered.
I'm keeping track of my thoughts with a wiki at
http://merrickquakerhill.wikispaces.com and I'm soliciting the names and locations of schools my personal learning network forwards to me for consideration right there. If you know of a school that you think is "doing it right" for their elementary students, please reply here and I'll add your suggestion to the list, investigate the school using my old pal Google, and contact the school to arrange a visit if it all works out.
It's funny, I thought folks would be clamoring to show off their programs, but I'm getting the sneaking suspicion that many of us feel we could/should be doing more or better. That's my motivation anyway.
