Facebook Timelines

I'm thinking of having my middle school students create a timline in the form of a Facebook news feed. The students will take on the point of view of different characters and post status updates and wall postings. What I am looking for is a template for Word or Excel that students can fill in, thus creating their own news feed without actually logging on to Facebook.

I think that this sounds like it could be a really neat project when it comes together. Although I don't have a suggestion for a template, I would love to know how this works out for you.
