Follow Up to "Teaching in the Web 2.0 Era" Webinar - Sat. Jan.31, 2009

Thanks to all those who participated in the Nipissing University Infusion Conference, Web 2.0 Webinar. It was a thrill to have so many people participate both in the conference meeting room in North Bay and virtual visitors from around the globe, as well!

I especially appreciated the assistance Steve Hargadon provided through information shared, technical support and setting us up with an Elluminate room (thx Elluminate, too!!). We were also lucky to have Paul Soppit, a Nipissing University Iteach Support person on the ground in North Bay - he did a fantastic job "working the room" for me.

I got a little mixed up with the timing so I realize that the information may have flown by a little fast - Later today, I will post a hand-out from the webinar which I hope will compensate for my mistake :-)

I believe Steve will also post a link to the archive of the webinar.

We started a good discussion about technology and learning which I'm hoping we can continue here!

I'm sorry I missed the online conference! I"m a teaching alumni from way back when - 1992. Also lived a number of years there and my sis teaches H.S. there still.... I'm glad someone is promoting technology and education in that part of the globe - my niece will eventually benefit from it!
