I have only been an active participant in classroom 2.0 for a short time, and after looking at a lot of the posts, wanted to ask a question.

How many of you are teaching gaming in your high schools just for gaming sake. That is, to teach them now to program games?

It seems like there is a lot of discussion about using games and gaming to teach something else. That makes sense. But how about teaching it because it is a valuable skill. One that will be important in many jobs that they will have. Because it is where the internet will go - especially when we think about 3D gaming.

So just wondering, are you teaching game development?
