Getting iPads in middle school, what iPod touch apps are you using now that I should know about?

The middle school at my school is getting a class set of iPads in the near future.  What iPod touch apps have you used in the classroom that I should know about that would be invaluable on the iPad?  I know there will obviously be iPad only apps that will be different but because I can't see those yet and want to get a head start on thinking about how best to use these. What apps have others used in middle school?

There's also been a great, long-running discussion with lots of links in it at the following Classroom2.0 discussion thread:
Lots of experts in implementation to be found there....

Apologies, but I wasn't thinking of iPod touch apps that would be available on the iPad when I sent the link of the iPod touch discussion.
One app I do know that is on the iPad is the International Children's Digital Library (ICDL), with almost 4500 books in >50 languages available for reading. More at:
Info at the AppStore...
I used the Greek Mythology in my literature class. I made a Smartboard presentation and the students had to use the application to answer questions. They had to respond with Chatzy. I used this an introduction to Antigone. They remembered so much and they even came into class after seeing Clash of the Titans to tell me all the information that they remembered from the game.
