I am looking to do a collaboration with another primary classroom (low elementary) during the next school year. I would like to do this using web 2.0 tools. I also would love to do it with a school outside of the United States. My focus would be an comparing our two places language, culture, interests, weather, climate, etc.

I am interested. I am a New Zealand Teacher Year 3 and 4, I think that is Grade 2 and 3, we are focussing on oral language and questioning skills so this would fit in nicely. Here is my blog for some background info http://thinklearnlive.edublogs.org/ and my class blog http://thewocketspot.edublogs.org/. Let me know if you what to exchange emails
Thanks I will contact you later because school is out for the summer. We get out a little earlier in Alaska and return a little earlier.

Another teacher and I teach English Language Learners ages 2 to 10 years-old. There are about 20 students. We could maybe set-up a Skype conference one day with the students reading each other books, singing songs, or teaching each other fingerplays.
I have done skype conferences before and I have an interactive whiteboard and it works great. I will contact you later because school is out for the summer. We get out a little earlier in Alaska and return a little earlier.
I have created a site for this project.
