We'd like to invite your students to participate in an awesome project within Journey North (http://www.learner.org/jnorth). In the fall and spring students report to our site with their observations of seasonal change. We would love to hear from students across the globe to share signs of the season you are experiencing. Our maps
cover the globe just waiting to receive comments.
On October 1, in the monthly phenology update, we will launch the idea of global seasonal change and share what students around the globe are experiencing.
For our October 1st update it would be particularly interesting to learn how the Autumnal Equinox might be celebrated by school children and communities around the world, but any observation would be lovely to learn about.
Please consider participating!
Registration is free - just link here: http://www.learner.org/jnorth/reg/
Then post your observations here: http://www.learner.org/cgi-bin/jnorth/jn-sightings
The "Signs of Fall" maps are here: http://www.learner.org/jnorth/maps/signs_fall2010.html
Please join us and pass around the news! We'd love to hear from students in Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia!
