Global Terrorism Simulation

Hey There.

I've got a contemporary issues class of seniors, and I'd like to facilitate a global terrorism simulation. This is a new class, and I'm looking for something I can modify and adapt and that the kids will get into. Any examples?

Dear Jeff,

Have you tried to contact Homeland Security or the FBI school?

I've spoken to people at both organizations and they are friendly and real people.

You might also check with your local fire/police departments. Many of these departments have had some training thru Homeland Security and have run similar drills themselves.

Geoffrey Robertson QC has an excellent 'hypothetical' for Terrorism. I adapted it and ran it with Year 9/10 - A great result - forced them to consider the decision making process, racial profiling etc in terrorism.
