Google Docs Survey

For an assignment this week in my educational technology class, we had to create a short survey using Google docs. Personally, I LOVE taking surveys and in my mind, I thought creating one would be just as enjoyable to create one, and I was correct! My survey was a multiple choice/ short answer and based on superheroes. The survey was comprised of five questions asking what was the person's favorite super hero and villain ( out of the given choices), what superpower they would want, if they preferred DC or Marvel and if they would wear a cape. I distributed the survey via Facebook and received great results. As a whole, I thought that this assignment was helpful and beneficial in two ways: it introduced me to new methods of obtaining ideas and thoughts from others and learning a new concept that I have never used before.
In the educational aspect, creating a survey via Google docs can be beneficial when it comes down to gaining insight from students and even parents regarding to the classroom. I will definitely incorporate surveys into my future classroom, but I am totally open to any suggestions on questions to ask pertaining to my future students/parents!!
