Heading Back to Teaching

What have you found to be the toughest thing about returning to a teaching position after being out of education for awhile?

I have no problem being enthusiastic, optimistic, and "rarin' to go..." But I am sure there are some challenges ahead that I have not yet considered.

I am the mom of four, and my two sons are both Scouts.... "Be prepared" has been drummed into my brain. So if you have some insights to share, that would be awesome!

You sound like you are ready to get things rolling so just have confidence in yourself. "Be prepared" and don't be afraid to ask questions. We always tell our students this, but sometimes we fail to do it ourselves. Good Luck:)
