Bringing to Israel the model of http://www.hightechhigh.org/raises interesting questions.
One of them is the principal - can a model developed in one country fit the culture and mentality of another? That's a question that was raised about education everywhere looking up to the Finland model.
The other question is if adjustments are made - how are they made without cancelling out the core of the innovation project?
And the last and certainly not least is about this specific project, which is based on Portfolio - when changing the learning model, we must also change the assessment model. The whole system of grades and tests needs to change. Who needs to lead this? I assume universities. But are they equipped to do it?
