Hi - I have plenty of experience hiring, but not in the education space. I need someone who has experience selling successfully into schools, national school organizations, teachers associations, etc. Having a rolodex of contacts will be as important as sales/negotiation skills.
I'd love to get some advice on how to approach this new hire. The goal of the position is quite simple - to drive massive amounts of free, global teacher registrations to our service at www.glogster.com/edu
. What type of salary is required? Can this be a virtual position or should I hire someone local to the Boston area where I am? What other qualifications might be beneficial to this new hire?
