Holocaust Museum on Second Life

Hi All,

The other day I was given a tour of the Holocaust Museum on Second Life which I found to be very powerful. I actually took my 7th Grade Hebrew School students through the museum on Sunday. They also found it really enlightening. I'd like to organize a tour of this museum from the people who participate on Classroom 2.0. The tour will take place on Monday December 1, 2008 at 6:00 pm EST. I'll post information on how to get to the museum soon. By the way, has anybody else seen this site? What did you think about it?

Andrew - I am interested in attending this event. I have not seen this site. My students and teachers would love access to this.

You know it's interesting I told several people on Second Life that I showed my 7th grade students the museum and they got a little upset because they said Second Life was for adults. I"m not sure that it's reasonable to become upset in this way. After all, teens and pre-teens are savvy. They know how to go places. Is there anything the matter with us showing them how to go places thoughtfully?
