Author visits are a great way to excite students about reading and writing. Hosting a Skype author visit is an affordable way to bring authors to your students.  Getting the chance to speak to an author has been an invaluable experience for the students at our 7-12 school.    In this session I will share ideas for finding authors who will Skype with your students and  tips for preparing your students for the visit.
