Short Session Description (one line): Creating curriculum and skills for creative students to build and understand social media presence beyond the classroom

Full Session Description (as long as you would like):  At UCLA HASOM, for three years I have helped undergraduates in music learn how to understand and engage community around their music and story.  Through this program, I have learned to help them understand deeply their ability to engage community, find kindred spirits across the web, and build critical thinking capacities on BS detection (amazing light among this group).  Through this session, I would like to share those learnings, describe tools and modules that I have developed with these creative souls, and gather conversations from the participants on how they have worked to teach kids to hunt and gather on their own to build smart stories about their work and lives on the global web.

Websites / URLs Associated with Your Session: maremel.com/learn -- I'll put up a workspace of materials there, and for the session, open up a version of the Moodle space that we use for sharing collaborative tools and work as examples.  I'll also add the materials here for continuing use and sharing.
