Take a look at a product from Hungry Teacher's "Water World".
Question: Using a standard piece of 8.5 inch x 11 inch paper, model what the earth would look like. Use different color rectangles to represent the land, freshwater, and saltwater. The rectangles need to be proportionate to their actual real world percentages.
