Interactive assignments: Students can create free websites in 60 seconds with Zapd app

Are you looking for a way to integrate your students' use of their iPod Touches, iPhones and iPads for learning?

Zapd is a new free app that allows users to create a beautiful, themed website in minutes. Choose a theme, add photos, text boxes and links. Preview your page, hit publish, and Zapd will generate a unique URL for your page which you can share via email or with friends on Facebook or Twitter.

Mobile devices aren't required to make a Zap. Students without them can also create a Zap using our desktop application at http://zapd.com/. Just sign up using the link at the top right hand corner of the page.

Make a quick Zap to share with just one photo or a more extensive story with a string of images and explanatory text blocks. Cite online sources with link boxes. Visitors to your Zap can leave a comment after logging in with either Facebook or by creating a Zapd account with an email address and password. The possibilities are as endless as your students' imaginations.
