International Student Experience: What have you observed?

Hi everyone, I'm an Educational researcher interested in Non-immigrant students (International students) experience in U.S. education. I wonder if anyone has students from other nations in their class or building. If so, what have you noticed about him/her/them from a teacher/administrator/counselor's perspective? It could be just about the individual in any class/grade, but it's also welcome if you have noticed any pattern/ trend among a group of international students.
