Just recieved an ipad for my classroom and I am looking for suggestions on how to incorporate this piece of technology into my lessons.

Also, I would love to know about any grants available that I could apply for that would fund a classroom set of ipads.

With one iPad I would use it to evaluate students as I walk around the room.
It can be used to create and show Keynote presentations.  You'll
Need to but Keynote and the VGA adapter but it's
pretty reasonable if you got the iPad given to you.
I remember Apple Canada offering Ipod Touches for our school at a cheap price, but I didn't see any 'give-aways'
I was very curious to know how an iPad would be helpful in a social studies classroom and i came across an interesting link.
The textbook company Pearson has created apps in Apple on the iPad that can help students with interactive learning games. Students can review and self test and become more involved.
