Andy,

I have not used Jing yet, and I'm not a PE teacher. However, I'm thinking you could possibly use video to demonstrate a specific technique like shooting free throws or doing a somersault. I have thought about using this as a coach to demonstrate specific fundamentals or techniques. I don't know if Jing is what you would want to use. IMovie or other video software may be better.

I agree that imovie or other video sharing is better for demonstrating a technique. Jing would be used if you already found a video that you want to capture and share with your students. Definitely a good idea that they could access from any internet source. All you would have to do is share your video.
Andy,
I agree with many of your thoughts and ideas. I think it would be a great way to use the talents of your students to demonstrate different skills or movements. The hardest part we have in the gym is how do you show this to your students? The labtop is fine, but rather small. Thanks for your input. Andy
I always use a projector, and shoot it up onto a wall. Make it big, kids love it. I do the same thing when I bring in Dance Dance Revolution.
