Hi all, I am an industry based e-learing educator working in the alcohol and other drugs sector in Australia. I write a blog about alcohol, drugs and harm reduction with an e-learning twist :) Already posted a couple of articles about hoe social networks can assist (or hinder) behviour change, and how drug and alcohol workers can use social networks to address life long learning. I'm currently working on an article about how drug and alcohol researhers can disseminate scientific evidence to drug and alcohol clinicians using Twitter. Any way you can find the blog at http://stonetreeaus.wordpress.com/
Cheers
Matt
I have a blog, it's written in French for those who would like to practice their French reading skills. The blog is directed to teachers who want to use Web 2.0 tools in their classroom.
I've been blogging since 2007. My classroom blog has evolved into a place where I can post weekly lesson plans, activities, and resources. Periodically parents, students, and other teachers post comments.
I am a High School Social Studies teacher. Most of my posts pertain to History, Political Science, Psychology, World Studies, Art, and Literature.
My blog is on Blogger. I use the blog here to link to that. Everyone with a blog should be doing that. I love the idea of link sharing.
Our new blog is called Pop Goes The Classroom and its goal is to provide different web 2.0 and media resources for the classroom. It's located at http://www.popgoestheclassroom.com
I don't just blog myself but include articles written by others so if you have a blog post you think might fit the theme let me know.
Hi Lynn,
Your idea of getting to know each others blogs is a great idea. I am a software developer and have worked in higher education. My blog is at http://happydeveloper.blogspot.com
Thanks
Jim
Thanks!
I switched blogs for our class blog. Our new blog is now located at: http://www.collisionblast.com/author/butler-bcrn/
I hope all other teachers have a "needed" great holiday break! :)
Here is my blog. This is my second year with this blog and I am hoping to expand it! Any thoughts or suggestions...please let me know :) I am pretty restricted in layout and this makes it a little "boring," however i am working on this! Our district likes us to use this platform...we will see what happens!
This is my vlog (video blog). Let me know what you think.
Michael,
I liked the concept of the vlog. It is probably quicker than typing it all? Can kids and parents watch on the smartphones? So many of my parents read my blog on their phones, i am wondering if it would get lost.
Thanks for checking out my vlog. It is definitely faster once it is setup. I can do a complete entry in less than 5 minutes. You can see the vlog and watch the videos on a smartphone. I have several kids that watch them on the bus on the way home everyday.
Hey guys! Just got my blog up and running this week. It is in the Original Stages, but I am off to a good start.
I am focusing on sharing ways I am using Web 2.0 tools within my daily 6th Grade Computers & Technology curriculum (impementation) as well as sharing new cool toys and tools I really want to integrate in the future. I also love incorporating Audio Recordings and Music into my curriculum so you will find original songs my students have performed as well as podcasts.
I am even going to share a Glogster I created that has an original Rap Song I wrote and performed called "Who's a Cyberbully?".
I just got it up and running this week so I really need some followers, inputs, suggestions, comments, something to help me get the ball rolling.
