Leveraging the Potential of Personal Learning Networks for Teacher Professional Development - Doctoral Research Study

Dear Fellow Educators:

My name is Katherine Maloney and I am a doctoral student at the University of Phoenix.  My dissertation focuses on how educators are using their Personal Learning Networks (PLNs) for professional development purposes.  I need your help.

Please click on this link if you are able to spare 5 minutes or less of your time to complete a short survey containing 13 questions concerning your use of a PLN for professional development purposes.  The survey should no longer than 5 minutes to complete and your responses will be confidential.  At the end of the survey you will be asked whether you are willing to participate in the second phase of the study, which consists of Skype interviews with active and engaged PLN-users.  Please provide me with your email address if you are willing to be interviewed.

Thank you so much in advance for your consideration.  I truly appreciate your time and hope that this study will provide valuable insights to leaders and practitioners concerning how to leverage the potential of PLNs as a form of teacher professional development.

Sincerely,

Katherine Maloney
