Looking for 8th grade Resource Room (LD) students for my students to have discussions with
In my 8th grade Resource Room, we focus on learning styles and specific strategies that can make the student's independent learners. I also teach them Dr. Carol Dweck's "Growth Mindset" theory, part of which is that in order to succeed, a person needs to seek advice from others who have been successful at the task that theystruggle with.
It would be great if we could hook up with other students who are learning and applying new study, time management, and test taking strategies.

I teach 7th grade RSP in a class called guided Studies. I teach lots of skills with videos from United Streaming, you tube, teacher tube and edublos.tv.
